The audio clip purportedly featuring a deal between a teacher and guardian to allow matriculation students to indulge in malpractice at the examination centre at Nimapada in Puri district has caused widespread concern. Minister of School and Mass Education, Samir Ranjan Dash, has ordered an inquiry into the matter, and stated that he has already discussed the matter with BSE president Ramashis Hazra. The examination centres under CCTV surveillance to ensure safety and fairness during the examination are also under scrutiny.
